Be Kind, Rewind

Some random photos from last week's adventures, in no particular order.

-------------------------------

Bonus Photos and Linkage!

Bobby Williams, a NYC photographer who contributes to the fine blog, EV Grieve, sent in this shot of a hawk in Tompkins Square Park.

TWM commenter and BBC memeber, Gene Rubbico sent in this photo with the following description: "J. Patrick's Irish Pub...Locust Point MD. Yes, it is a urinal - for like 3 guys at the same time!  ICK ! They also have an old fashioned cigarette machine, noTV''s, and live Irish music.  You'd love it!"

And finally TWM commenter, Mykola "Mick" Dementiuk sent in this Gumby link: Warning, it's "R" rated and probably NSFW...depending on where you work. Here's the linkage: Gumby At Play.

Thanks, everybody! I'll be poting a cheeseburger tease photo later tonight, check back and have a great weekend!

Till Tomorrow...

Thanks for tuning in and tripping out with me! See you, tomorrow!

Gene Rubbico of the BBC suggested this song which is on the new Van Halen album, since it fits into the scheme of things here at TWM and should be the TWM theme song, it’s called, Beats Workin.’ Thanks for the suggestion, Gene!

The Buffet

They're putting the buffet together now. It's not quite as big as I thought it would be.

Okay, the food has been delivered, let's see what's inside of here!

Cheese quessadillas and French fries. Does two items actually equal a buffet. It certainly is an exercise in starchiness though. I'm going to name this buffet, Starchie Bunker.

It's not bad and I really shouldn't complain as it is free, plus I had two helpings.

Not quite on par with yesterday's cheese and cracker plate from McSorley's, but then what is? We'll file this under: "You get what you pay for."

And as the sun sets on Brooklyn, one thought repeats over and over in my mind..."Where the fuck is that train station?"
