Weekly Update

Okay, time for my little update here. I know these posts haven’t been too exciting, but I’ve been so busy getting settled into Peoria I just don’t have much time for this right now. I really appreciate those of you who have been stopping by and commenting, it means a lot to me and I promise my new blog will be lot more fun. Speaking of my new blog, I’m going to start it on Monday December 3rd, so mark that on your calendar, if you have one. If you don’t have a calendar, then write it on your forehead and send me a photo and that’ll be next weeks post. I finished one week of work, and while I never blog about work, I will say it went very well and I’m working with some really nice and cool people. It’s a totally different kind of job than I had in New York and I really like it. It’s nice having a job that you don’t dread going in to. I’ve started fixing up my place and when I start my new blog I’ll give you a full tour, but here’s a few teaser shots of my new place for now.

This is my desk and writing area. I'm currently writing a story about leaving New York that will be up on the first post of my new blog that's going to debut December 3rd.

And here's my new favorite thing in the world, the ice machine in my building.

I don't know why this thing makes me happier than anything, but it does and that's a good thing.

The world’s coolest DJ, Gidget, sent me this photo that really cracked me up. No one else except “Boris” will get the joke and that’s part of what I love about it! And speaking of Gidget and “Boris”, don’t forget to check out their wonderful radio show on Woody Radio, the “Secret Weapon”. “Boris” picks the tunes and Gidget spins them, it’s the best radio show in the world, tune in and turn on!

Another Stupid Announcement From Me

 Okay, I've got bad news and some more news about the posting here at TMW First off, the freelance job didn't work out, the commute was too long and there's other factors I'm not going to get in to here. As I've always said, I don't blog about my job here. So that didn't work out, which means I have to get serious about looking for a job, which means I can't be updating this blog everyday. But I don't want to totally stop the blog while I search for a job, so I've decided to post updates, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Tuesday through Thursday there probably won't be anything. I figured four days a week are better than none and again, I appreciate everyone's loyalty and nice comments. Now I'm going to relax and try and get rid of this sinus headache that is making me feel like I'm bleeding from the eyeballs. We'll see you next Friday! Thanks for being patient with me and this blog! Oh and if you're wondering why there's a picture of Joan Jett up there, I figured that if she Google's herself (and who doesn't?) maybe this will come up and she'll give me job, hey you never know!

Holy Fuckballs It's Friday And I Don't Have A Post!

Okay, it's after eight in the morning, I left for work yesterday at 5:20 PM and just got home five minutes ago. You do the math because I had to cheat to get a D in Pre-Algebra.I started a freelance job this week and I've worked a lot of days and there's a commute involved and basically, I need to get drinking here and get to bed. So this is the whole post. It's going to be tough for me to blog these next couple of weeks while I'm working this freelance project, the hours are going to be long, so I'm going to try and stack some stuff up over the weekend and post them next week. This sporadic posting won't last beyond this freelance job because one of two things will happen when it's over: I'll either have a full-time job and the hours won't be so nuts, I won't have a full time job and will go back to being an unemployed blogger.

I'm going to the Joey Ramone Birthday Bash this Saturday and I'll post that on Monday. Gene and Smoopy are coming in to town and we're celebrating Gene's birthday on Sunday, so photos from that will be up Tuesday. There won't be a post tomorrow or Sunday, because I'll be getting Monday's and Tuesday's posts put together.

And what will happen on Wednesday? As I always like to say: I'm going to be optimistic and look on the bright side, maybe I'll die in my sleep Tuesday morning! Have a great weekend everyone and please come back on Monday!
